Morgan Anderson is a young artist living in Grand Rapids. She is originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
It is a central belief of Morgan’s that what makes us human is a unique combination of creativity and community. Creativity in this sense is meant as a broader definition, akin to ingenuity and innovation. This simple philosophy stretches its influence throughout all of her work, from writing to photography to graphic design, and everything in-between. We are makers made to inspire and be inspired.
Her fine art wall prints can be found at Dime and Regal as well as online. While a portion of her work centers on fine art wall prints, she also does lifestyle, portrait, and couple photography.
Morgan is currently finishing up her senior year at Calvin College, triple majoring in English-Writing, Spanish, and Strategic Communication. In college, she’s had the opportunity to study abroad in Norway, Mexico, and Peru. Much of her fine art wall prints come from those countries. On the back of each print, there is an accompanying story to give the viewer a better understanding of how it came to be.
Beyond art, Morgan writes short stories, eats far too many yummy pastries, and dreams of traveling to far-off places.
